Vintage Christmas Corners
Hello, friend!
First off, Gwenda, let's get in touch because I need to know where to send your granola!
Thank you to all who shared their favorite made-by-hand gifts in the previous post. If you happened to make the granola, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

A few evenings ago, I flipped through our eclectic and limited channel selection via our trusty dusty antenna (we are one of five families in America still using one). On one "All Movie Channel", which usually showcases movies that flopped during the sixties and seventies, and on a "current" night, the eighties. Commercials for funeral planning and life insurance abound. On this particular evening, they were kind enough to treat their geriatric (and me) audience to a film that made me want to jump through the screen, delve in a little time travel and land on the rambling front porch of the "Holiday Inn".
Bing and Fred sang and danced, with a backdrop of black and white vintage American beauty. I was completely absorbed.
As you can see, my absorbtion with decades past is not limited to movies. As I looked around at the Christmas I've created in the corners of our home, I saw a similar theme.
You might too....
Thank you for dropping by!
I hope you have a few cozy, Christmas corners in your world which bring you a little bit of comfort and joy.
Stay tuned for the tale of two date nights...
you might want to invite your husbands for this one.
