No Tricks, Just Treats!

Hello, friend!
In lieu of watching election results (and commentary), I have decided to enjoy the silence and work on a few things...among them, this blog.
I'm simply posting a few pictures from Halloween last Friday evening. In our neighborhood, it's a great opportunity to spend time with each other...and the children thought it was pretty darn cool that we were outside (when we're usually in-at dark), that we were able to stop and go in their favorite neighbor's homes AND as a bonus, be given candy "just because". Could it get any better????

So, here we are....2 Farmers, their pumpkin patch and a rather lanky piggy bank.

Farmer Miller and his 'missus

Pumpkin No. 1

Pumpkin No. 2 (who stubbornly refused to wear her stem)

Pumpkin No. 3 who was enjoying the warmth inside with "Nanny", our wonderful neighbor (who has become family) across the street.

The lean, mean piggy bank machine. (Hey, for a night-before costume decision, it wasn't bad. Plus, it was cheap! I, Carla Crafty that I am ***wink.***, offered to make him a homemade snout. He declined. Imagine that! )

The pumpkins in their 'wagon', thinking that their evening was looking good!

There are a few more things I'd like to get done before I call it a day.

As for tomorrow morning, the sun will still come up in the East and God is still on His throne, no matter who accumulates the most votes.

Thank God.
