What a difference a day makes!
In my last post, I mentioned we had spontaneously decided to remove our very tired & dirty looking carpets in our living and dining room. Thankfully, it turned out well! We still have some touching up to do along the sides and in general, but overall, it was a quick and fun transformation. I found two very reasonably priced area rugs at Lowes and we did a little rearranging and it felt like a new house!
To break in the 'new look', we had a birthday breakfast for our dear neighbor Dolly, who turns 88 today. (Pictured with her daughter, Carol Ann and my mom & youngest two).

and i forgot to comment the other day about the video of the slide, i was laughing so hard i was crying...i think....no, i KNOW i watched it at least 10 times in a row! Tyler came in to watch too....you are now officially cooler then me!!!!!!!
